How to Purchase a Firearm from Sporting Arms Company

The purchasing
process is simple and ensures that firearms do
not get into the hands of under age and
prohibitive persons.
For Firearms that are shipped from our shop to
your FFL Transfer Dealer.
Steps:
- The first step
is to decide on the item you are buying and
add it to your shopping cart.
- The second step is to decide on the
payment method. All prices in our
database and on emailed quotes have been
reduced by 3.0% for mail-in payment by cash,
money order or certified check. Credit
card payments do not earn the 3.0% discount and
the 3.0% must be added to the total price. We
accept Visa and Master Card via our Secure
Order Form. All transactions are secured
by up to 256 bit encryption through our SSL Digital
Certificate from GoDaddy.com.

Other than the
payment, the only other item needed to
purchase the firearm is a signed in ink copy
of a FFL. Please read our
FAQs for definitions and explanation of the FFL
requirement and where to obtain a FFL. ALL
FIREARMS must be shipped to a FFL holder
in your local area for transfer to you
(Click here for the FFL Locator links). Your local FFL
holder will perform your background check and
handle any other eligibility requirements that
your local and state laws may require. Your
local licensed dealer can provide you the
signed FFL copy or you can have them mail, fax
(972-315-9081) or email it
directly to us.
For Firearms that are picked up from our shop.
Steps:

- We
are happy to accept a 50% deposit or hold a
credit card number on special
ordered firearms. Balance is due upon delivery
of the firearm to your possession. Upon SAC
receipt of the purchased firearm, you will be
contacted and given directions to our shop. Due
to our relatively small size and heavy volume of
over the counter sales, we ask that you make a
prior appointment to ensure personalized
attention. Please call 972-315-9086 during
regular business hours (Tue - Fri 11:00AM to
6:00PM) with any
questions or to make an appointment.
- We
strictly adhere to all BATF, State and local
requirements in the commerce of firearms. All
over the counter sales require that BATF Form
4473 (Yellow Sheet) be completed unless a valid
FFL is presented in person by the Licensee. A
valid state issued picture I.D. is required to
be presented at the time the Form 4473 (yellow
sheet) is completed. Form 4473 must be
completed in the presence of a SAC designated
employee – no exceptions.
- Certain restrictions apply to foreign
nationals purchasing firearms. Please
contact Sporting Arms Company for
eligibility requirements.
